Great place to stay for the price. Rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. The included breakfast has pretty much anything you'd want. My only suggestion is that if you're a light sleeper, make sure to book a room on the back side of the building, as there's a fair amount of road noise from Calgary Trail.
Although this hotel is on the older side. It is very well maintained, very clean, and the staff are sooner of the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure to meet. They had no problem changing our room after the first night when the bed was too hard. They even helped my sick wife move all our things.
Convenient location for south Edmonton, going east just takes you up gateway a bit. Breakkie was good, had cinnamon rolls, juices, western omelettes, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, pork sausages, turkey sausages, yogurt, big selection of teas, coffee with flavoured creamers, bagels, brown and white bread, bakery goods, pancake machine, cereal, fruit, milks and REAL butter. Most was quick serve but came out hot. Staff is great and friendly. Only complaint is that our bed in 304 was hard and squeaky but we never mentioned anything since it wasnt a big deal. Clean room and big enough to move around nicely. Quiet from the streets. Room are relatively soundproof, didnt hear the housekeeping in the hall.
Holiday Inn Express Suites gives you and enjoyable stay for a good price. The rooms are well cleaned and provide a well maintained pool and hot tub. On top of all that they provide you a great free breakfast with a lot of options to choose from fruits to protein. Overall, Holiday Inn has always provided me with an incredible guest experience everytime I have stayed with them.
This is an excellent hotel choice for Edmonton. The location is convenient. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast has a great selection. The most outstanding part is definitely the excellent service by the hotel staff. Would definitely make this one of my regular hotels for the Edmonton area.
