We just moved our networking group's regular meeting here. So far, we LOVE IT! They really know events and how to provide good customer care! We got confused this week and forgot our projector. Knowing we are now regulars, they rented us one on the spot for 1/2 price. They did not need to be asked to provide guests with a Wifi code. And they put out pens and pads every time. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
I was here for a demonstration form Kitchen Charm, but that doesnt have to do with the hotel itself. From what I saw, the hotel was nice, but nothing super special. It wasn't amazing, not to say it was bad, but take it as it is. The clerk's at the front desk were pleasant, and directed me to my function quickly. Not sure I would stay here if I had other options, but it was alright.
This hotel is at an ideal location, the c-train stops behind the hotel. The first stop southbound is the Chinook mall and the first stop northbound is the Stampede. Downtown Calgary is a few stops past the Stampede. The room was clean and quiet and the staff extremely friendly and helpful.I travel a lot and this one goes on my preferred hotel lists.
I was going to a job interview when I visited this hotel so I was only as far as the lobby, but the location us great, right off the train, not too far downtown, the person I was meeting with comes here whenever she comes to cakgary because it's convenient. The lobby looked very clean and modern and it was overall a good experience. I took a star off because I've never actually stayed here and can't speak to what that's like
The stay was nice, the rooms are quiet, the beds comfortable and clean and the water for a shower can get piping hot if you like that kinda thing. There's a nice size pool, though it's a little on the cool side. They seem to be pet friendly too, so that's a plus, not that we took advantage. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would recommend anyone to stay there
