Best steak I have ever ate tender and juicy! The staff was awesome welcoming and very friendly! The manager Meghan talked with us and found out we were their for baseball and offered us free desserts! Will definitely make it their next time were in Calgary.
My boyfriend says he likes the Keg because "you always know exactly what you're getting" which is such a good way of putting it. The menu has successful dishes which have been served at the Keg for years. It's consistent. If you want something super trendy and imaginative, this is not the place for you, but it's always good. The steaks are always cooked perfectly and the cocktails are delicious. The service is very professional and well above average. These are the kind of employees who have made this industry their home.
Took a friend visiting from England. The Prime Rib did not disappoint at all. Husband and I had the cauliflower steak as we are vegan (ask for the honey glaze to be omitted to make it vegan). Very tasty. Great, great service.
The quality good as always. The waiter we had was super friendly and nice but not fake.also the guy at the bar was help with my phone putting it to charge. Overall we enjoyed a great dinner at this location. Definitely coming back here when i am back in Calgary
Super friendly and helpful service, pleasant atmosphere and the food is amazing. High quality food / great steaks. We always come here with family (including teenage boys) when we visit the city once a year. What I like about the Keg is its consistency in service and quality across all locations. Reflects good management and strong training for staff. Portions are large, shared one dish with the wife and it was still too much ! We had dinner earlier (5:30 pm on a Thursday) and the restaurant was half full, and an hour later it was completely filled up.
