Just awful. Not living up to the Barlow locations good reputation. Got the BBQ pork wonton soup and got ONE wonton and all noodles with a half cup of both. Will not be coming here again which is unfortunate since Kings used to be the best in the city.
The Classic War Wonton "King" is more then enough food. I'm taking 1/2 home for latter.Good food nice clean environment vary friendly staff. I will be back!
Kings has the best chinese food in Calgary bar none. The service is fast and the staff and atmosphere are like eating at your family dinner table. All of this and you are not overcharged.Highly reccomend you try this great place.
King's on the hill has some of the best customer service of any restaurant I have ever been to. To top it off they also have the best pancakes in the city. I come to King's on the hill every weekend for breakfast. The owner is here quite often and always remembers us and greets us asking about how we're doing. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I usually get the pancakes because of how good they are, but it's always a struggle to decide because the wonton soup is amazing as well. The one week I ordered the soup and when the owner came by I mentioned it had been a toss up to decide. 5 min later one of the staff brought me out two mini pancakes. This place always goes so far above and beyond it's amazing. The owner encouraged us to try new things on the menu so my boyfriend ordered the Hot and Sour soup. When it wasn't for him she replaced it with the wonton soup. Such amazing consideration! It's never lined up here for breakfast which is also a big sell. My bf likes to get lunch and I love breakfast so this place is a great compromise since we can both get what we want. Come to King's on the hill and you will not be disappointed!!! Try the pancakes!!!!P.S. If you ever have the good fortune to meet Kris, the owner, count yourself lucky, she is very warm and friendly and she always makes us feel like we have come to eat at our cool aunts house.
