Great place for walking and socializing your dog. Most people are good but occasionally their is someone with a dog that should not be off leash or the owner needs to be closer. There are a few fenced off "private# areas if your dog is not ready for the off leash experience. My only pet peeve are the people that think off leash means they aren't responsible to pick up after their dogs. Most folks are good but there are always a few that are too busy looking at their phones that apparently did not see their dog defecate!

This was our first time visiting this off leash park. Being from outside of the city, I was not too sure how it would be as I have heard many negative stories about Calgary dog parks. We are more than impressed!! 62 acres of fenced in fun! Everyone was friendly and we did not encounter any unruly dogs. The park was clean, had plenty of garbage bins and access to other areas, like the river.

Biggest dog park, completely fenced in (with multiple subsections that are also fenced in), and plenty of water access. Not much more you can ask from a dog park. There is a small fenced in section that is great for young pups to train. The water access is amazing for the swimmers. And there are always plenty of other dogs for your pup to play with.

Great off-leash park. Love the separate walking / playing compounds and trails along the nature preserves leading to the river. My girls love the chance to run in the open fields, but then find shade to the sides and a chance to swim and cool off. Only complaint is the shorelins anti-erosion measures taken about 50% of the way...boulder strewn shoreline guaranteed to twist your ankle even if you're four-legged, hope gravel will someday be added to level it out and make use of the rivers edge safer...

Best off leash I've found in the whole city. So many different paths and areas, beautiful walk for humans and dogs alike! It's usually pretty clean and busy on weekends.
